—Mission Statement
The Snorkel Bob Foundation shall remain dedicated to marine habitat and species defense against whaling, illegal fin fish harvesting and incidental kill of marine species, with emphasis on reef systems around the world. Any vessels taking marine cetaceans of any kind, whether intentional or incidental, shall be considered offensive by the Snorkel Bob Foundation. Offensive vessels shall include but not be limited to long liners, drift netters and "factory" ships.
The Snorkel Bob Foundation shall further resist the harvest of reef fish by any means for commercial sale or display, with emphasis on harvests employing dynamite or cyanide. The Snorkel Bob Foundation shall resist with equal focus those commercial outlets dealing in freeze dried seahorses and blowfish and any seashells or corals, as well as resisting the harvest of these creatures.
Defense against human effluent shall fall under the Foundation's purview where intervention can provide relief to the marine systems affected.
The Foundation shall not offer scholarships of any kind but may sponsor individuals participating in marine habitat and/or species defense.
The Foundation may also consider donations of Snorkel Bob Brand masks, fins and snorkels to those organizations engaged in defense of marine habit and/or species.
